I got an email today that Digital Music Express on Galaxy 10R has
unfortunately ceased transmissions at midnight on Oct. 1st. DMX also said
that many programmers has been using DMX without permission even while their
signal is unscrambled. What really happened to DMX on G10R? I hope someone
have a definate answer.

DMX was broadcast by TVN for distribution to certain cable companies. TVN
has stopped transmitting PPV and all other DCII programming. DMX was kept
for a few extra months to provide a transistion time for cable operators.
DMX is still available for commercial users on IA-6 I think... (don't know
which sat it's on, requires dedicated hardware). It's also on Ku band on
Galaxy 4R for HITS customers.

TVN now only does Video On Demand services and no longer provides direct-
to-consumer services.
