searching for signal on satellite in 2 |
|
|
This usually happens when it rains. Satellite 1 is fine but there's no
signal on #2. I tried switching the cables at the box, and the problem
stayed with #2.
Do I have a bad box? |

You have too weak a signal for the amount of rain. That can be either
too weak in a relative sense or an absolute sense depending..... |

Try switching at the dish I have had to repair ends out side a couple of
times in the last 10-12 years, also replace one ground block, due to
corrosion |

If the problem stayed on the same port after swapping the lines, it's a box issue, not wiring.
Depending on the brand of DVR it seems there is a problem with the sat 2 input. _________________ Rock and roll is like sex, if the neighbors can't hear it- why bother? |
