What Satellite is the Full DMX Direct Music Service On? |

Does anyone know where the full DMX Direct service is broadcast on? I'm
not talking about the few channels on Galaxy 4R offered through HITS.
Rather, the 100+ channels you get when subscribing through the company.
I've seen references on the web to Intelsat America's 6, but nothing
shows up there on the Lyngsat charts.
I'm curious what kind of hardware they use, and if you can subscribe
using your own existing equipment.
I know - I could call them - but all too often you get people that are
not technically knowledgeable and can't answer anything that isn't on
their script. |

It used to be on T4,but is now on Telstar 6 following that satellite's
failure.Anyway,here is a link that might answer your question more

To sub to the originals you must purchase equipment from DMX. It is in a format
not compatible with consumer level receivers.

I think the originals are on IA 5 or IA 6, but I am not certain.

I saw that page before and it didn't seem to be accurate. But now
instead of looking at the Lyngsat charts, I went to the SatcoDX ones to
get another opinion. Sure enough, there is DMX on tp 25 on IA6! |
