Bad week for feeds

Postby mikey » Mon Oct 24, 2005 3:08 am

While waiting for the late (0205) feed of "CSI: Miami", and thinking it
might have gone missing, it occurred to me that some shows (and their feeds)
this week might be affected by the World Series. Checking my EPG, I found
no problems till Thursday when "CSI: Original Recipe" airs a repeat.
Friday's "Threshold" and "Numb3rs" are also repeats, though there is no game
scheduled for that night. Additionally, "Out of Practice" and "King of
Queens" which air next Monday, but feed Friday and Saturday this week, are
repeats. It's likely none of this is related to Series avoidance, but rather
CBS getting an early start on the normal late fall rerun season. The WB's
"Charmed" and "7th Heaven" feeds Friday should appear, but the five shows
listed above will be "no shows" this week.

AFAIK, Fox is aring nothing new at all during the WS, game day or not.

Isn't the CSI franchis on CBS anyway?

Not true. New "Prison Break" Monday night, new Killer Instinct Fri.

Yeah, but some networks are scheduling repeats, rather than pitch their
marquee shows against the series. NBC:Joey, Will & Grace and ER all repeats
Thursday, L&O/SVU Tuesday and Wednesday also repeats. CBS: Still Standing,
Yes Dear, and Criminal Minds repeat Wednesday.

It seems like they are holding new episodes for sweeps, which is next month.

Speaking of "Out of Practice" I noticed that the feed said episode 2
"revised." Anyone notice any difference between the first airing and
the second?

Hahaha, it sure was down here in Florida.

Thank goodness this latest hurricane uncovered my old ground mount ten
foot that was blocked in by trees since my two working ones were
destroyed real good this time.
