Crappy SDTV on H10 receiver |

I have a H10 receiver and i have to say that while my HD Sunday ticket
games look stunning on my sony 42 inch lcd projection tv, the sd games
looks really crappy and dark.
Anybody else have this experience? Short of getting a
different HD receiver is there a cure, the live broadcasts seem to be
the worst, although the rest of the sd channels dont look that great
either.
I have a D10 receiver as well , it does a nice job on the sd tv, but i
dont want to HAVE to hook 2 receivers upto my big tv.
