Interchange directv and dish network antenna |
|
|
Okay, I realize up front this is a fairly popular question since my searches
provided lots of responses. However, the information was so varied that it
turned out to be more confusing than helpful. I'm hoping someone that has
actually done this can help...
I have a friend that just moved into a place with a Dish network antenna on
the roof. I have a spare Directv receiver that I was going to give him.
Other than a simple alignment to the right satellite, is there anything he
needs to do in order to use the receiver for Directv instead of Dish
network?
Thanks,
Jim |

If it has two separate LNBFs or is a single look dish, no. If it has
some sort of integrated LNBF (like the PIII DirecTV one), then it needs
to be replaced with a single LNBF. |
