This is to let you know that Superstar-Netlink-TurnerVision are still lying
to the TVRO owner that CMT, History Channel, TCM, HGTV, A&E, etc. have left
C-band but they have gone to 4dtv DCII format! I have received a flyer in
the mail today about their lies.

Speaking of mail, I believe that the anti-TVRO group,
Superstar-Netlink-TurnerVision are, under my suspicion, stealing snail-mail.
This mail theft is related to TVRO related snail-mail. That this group has
been kickbacking to the U.S.P.S. I have even written to my Congressman about
a TVRO related friendly legislation in September, 2005 but never received a
reply.

Does anybody have received snail-mail from NPS or SRL recently, such as
subscription renewals? I have never did since last winter. I have cancelled
TNT from Netlink but still receiving all this "Garbage" from them.

They have been doing this "stretching the truth" bit for some time,it is
nothing new.The funny thing is,I really think they actually BELIEVE that
C-Band is just analog and analog only.When I tell them (a CSR) that 4DTV
is DIGITAL C-Band too,they act like it is some different frequency and
transmission method.I know they authorize 4DTV signals for HBO,Cinemax,
and premium movie services,so why do they act like this? Any more,I just
ignore them and throw their 'circulars' in the trash.....

Actually, they are tell the truth as far as their packages go. While these
feeds are now on 4dtv, they aren't avalibe to Netlink subscribers. In
order to receive them you have to switch. So as far as Netlink is
concerned, they have left C-Band.

I wouldn't waste your time with those Netlink-Superstar clowns. I just toss
there flyer into the fireplace when I start a fire on a cold day. It's
easier that way.

Ron, I'll tell ya, since I been dealing with Netlink in 1995 they've been
wanting to sell me a year subcription with Dishnet and free receivers.Every
darn 3 months they would clammer over and over again about Cband going and
Small dish being the thing of the future. Blah blah blah.
I ended up giving up on Cband and going with the small dish but not with
netlink of course.
Every three months there was always a few Analog channels gone. It hasn't
changed,

Yes,analog is disappearing.....BUT 90% of the retrenched channels have
appeared in DIGITAL format,whether FTA or Digicipher 2 on a 4DTV
unit.So,Netlink/Superstar/Turner's claims that they are disappearing are
somewhat bogus.Just because THEY cannot authorize the bulk of these
channels does not make their claims genuine.

Yes, I got another one of those in the past month. They're trying to push
their remaining customers to the pizza dish. Problem is they seem to know
nothing about HD signals on Dish - at least last time they dared call me and I
asked.... Made a great excuse to shut the sales rep. up and have them hang up.

I have got an email from NPS today and it says: "Don't Believe the C-Band
Myths" in the letter it says that NPS has signed contracts through 2008 and
is working through C-Band everyday....

Has anyone got an email from NPS today? If so, please post it in this NG
with your opinion. No wonder why is Netlink is lying to their customers!
