I have Fo*tel and would like to put the second LNB + separate cable to watch
Optus B3 free programs on the FTA STU.

Can someone tell me how far (how many cm left or right looking from the dish
front and the center of the Fo*tel LNB) the second LNB should be? Second
dish, moving the Fo*tel dish or installing the motor is not an option.

Is anyone selling holders for the second LNB in Sydney (like they have in NZ
for 3 LNBs) who and how much they cost?

Thank you in advance.

Don't you need an elliptical dish to do this reliably?

a 65cm dish is not really big enough. the LNB would need to go on the left
side as you face the dish
But you will get dropout with such a small dish as your changeing the
configurtion of the dish.

its possible to make a bracket to suit your dish. But buying commercially
made ones may not be possible as they are usually designed for specific
brands of LNB and Dish ARM mount setups. I know. I baught 2 different multi
LNB holders and none would fit my existing dish setup. And the setup process
is quiet time consuming and frustrating

Best just buy a 90cm multi beam toroidal dish. Or a cheap 90cm single beam
sat dish.. I myself am using a Torodial 90cm iun Sydney and a lot less
hassle than a multibeam on a sat dish designed for 1 LNB

Thank you for replies - you ALL are THE GREAT service to Sat TV community
please keep sharing your knowledge !

As Basset said, firstly I positioned second LNB close to original, but
signal was too weak.

At the end, I bought the second dish.

Now I have 2 separate systems

The best signal was actually when I fixed the second LNB with gafa tape to
the first LNB - so close it is.

As LNBs has to be so close, the solution may be dual LNB (I think) but I
couldn't find anyone selling them in Australia.
