It was a pain adjusting my Channels you receive. DirecTv could of just
have easily put a flag on those stations that are "Premium" to make it
easier for its customers without young children who don't subscribe to
Total CHoice Plus, given they wanted to group the channels by subject
and not by program subscription category.

I had to find the list on their web page in A NOT OBVIOUS LOCATION.

http://www.directv.com/see/pdf/XM_channel_lineup.pdf

Then I had to deselect the channels I'd NEVER listen to, and then fuss
over the fact that 814 is on the list but when tuned to, It tells me to
call if I want to subscribe, so apparently it got pulled from the
default package, and no body was answering the phone at 1-800-DirecTv
last night. I assume they didn't staff up for the (to be expected)
increase in support calls.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the sound quality as good as Music
Choice was, and when a banjo only comes on the left channel, one knows
that song on that channel is actually in Stereo. It's nice to have more
channels, but generally I could do without the lame voiceovers that many
channels have.

....

The two service reps I talked with this week didn't think the XM channel
lineup had a recent change. Channel 814 is listed as available in Total Choice
in multiple places. Someone made a mistake in the channel authorizations.

I noticed that ch 814 wasn't available (Total Choice pkg) on Tuesday night
and made a CS phone call. It still wasn't available last night when I called
to change my subscription to Total Choice Plus. I'll listen to the "Plus" music
channels for a month to see if I find them worth an additional $4 monthly.

The "free preview" weekends for Total Choice Plus have never convinced
me of added value, so I doubt that the additional XM channels will either.

That hasn't been communicated to Customer Service.

Correct. It's showing as TC from what I see.

I'll submit it to CAMC.
