videocrypt decoder

Postby Free » Sat Nov 19, 2005 12:07 pm

Hello all,

I have just been given a "videocrypt decoder" box along with a yellow sky
viewing card by my mother.
I live in France and the idea was it would replace my panasonic box which
has finally given up the ghost.
What I don't understand is how to coonet it to my dish.
On the back A/V connection and that is it.
There is no make marked anywhere just "Made in France for Sky TV".

Will I be able to do anything with this?

regards

Sounds like an old analogue decoder. Those were connected to your receiver.
It had no receiver build in.

To watch Sky you will need a Sky Digibox with a blue card and a yellow house
on it.

I have just been given a "videocrypt decoder"

This is a relic and has been useless for several years.
