Someone can tell me about quality of Yakumo DeltaX? |
|
|
Hello,
i am using an old iPaq3630 with a SysonChip Plus XTrac V1
for pedestrain use. It's very good, one of the best GPS for this
kind of use, but i would like a more compact one.
I wonder if Yakumo with Sirf III is quite good to substitute
my iPaq & Syson for trekking.
Anybody can tell me something about?
Thanks |

Depends what you mean by trekking
If you use it on foot with TT5 for example, it works quite neatly as the
software provides you with such an option.
Good PDA, just waiting for the same with incorporated Wifi

I mean using it on foot with OziExplorer CE,
sometimes in dense foliage.
What i wonder is if has good fixes in such conditions, like XTrack V1.
I have read some reviews, but have not found a definitive answer
to this question. I suppose that XTrack V1 is STILL the best solution
for some particular conditions, but i HOPE Sirf III / Yakumo are still
good anyway.
(ps: my English is terrible, or quite readable?) |
