question about fta programming |

any idea why a diseq+viewsat platinum connected to 61.5 and 119 echostar
only picks up the 61.5 on scans?? is there any options that need to be
setup or what? it says diseq port 3 when in the echostar 3 (61.5) option
in the menus... but there is no diseq port shown when in the echostar 6,8
option and changing it to a number doesn't scan it anyway... any ideas why?

You will need to setup your Sat setting and assigned the right port on
the disecq to the right sat, ex: if you connect 61.5 to port #1 and 119
to port #3
if so on you FTA box, going to Sat-instal menu and in 61.5 select port
1 when on 61.5 setting and select port #3 when on 119 setting.
When scan, scan both sat |

A have an elliptical dish and a disc switch and only get the 110
satellite despite getting a signal on 119 and scanning (Powerscan, too!)
the 119. Weird. |
