LOVE Magellan 360 but no servce poly available |

I have looked at many GPS units, in stores, and have read for months about
the pros and cons of the various units on the market.
I decided on a Magellan 360 from Costco, because it was $100 cheaper that
anywhere on the net and Costco offers unrestricted 30 day tryout.
So far I have tried it to a number of destinatinations in Baltimore,
Gaithersburg, Hagerstown (all MD) and then to a number of places in PA. It
took me to all perfectly, always found the address and voice instructions
were perfect.
So - I am very pleased with this unit. The maps are up to date and it guides
me directly up my 100 foot driveway, before it says "you are at your
destination" I am absolutely delighted and amazed.
The only Con I find is that Magellan does not offer an extended warranty. |

Doesn't CostCo offer one?
I would not worry about it unless I was going to use the GPS in a pretty
rough service environment or rough manner. That will last for years
with reasonable care in handling.
And when they quit working, repairs are not practical or priced too
close to the cost of a newer model, the model will be discontinued, the
newer ones will have more features, etc.
