ipaq 2755 and GPS |
|
|
No matter which gps program I load, (S&T, Delorme, GPS viewer the
program will update for 15 seconds and then stop updating.
I have tried 3 different GPS receivers with the same result.
Have tried it from a hard reset with same results
ipaq is a 2755 with ROM V1.09
Suggestions? |

Hard to say, I have a Global sat 338 that I use with a 2755. My only
problem is that I can not believe the altitude response as it shows me
living at -49 feet and trust me the waves I hear out my window tell me that
I am at approx 10 feet above mean sea level.

GPS Altitude is calculated by measuring the disatance of the user from the
center of the GPS orbit. The true altitude is based upon a mathematical
model of the earth and thus can be very innacurate with an error of up to
+/- 75ft.
