Activating DirecTiVO? |

Picked up an open box DirecTIVO cheap on Black Friday. It didn't come with
an access card, will DirecTV have a problem switching a current card to this
box or do I have to get a new card ? will they give me problems activating
it? I don't want to have any 1 year committment |

You will be able to move your existing card to your new equipment no
problem. After all, all you are doing is upgrading your existing service.

I wouldn't think there would be any problem. They will probably charge |
you for an access card, and of course, they'll charge you the $6/mo
for the Tivo service. All you saved is the 1 yr committment, since
DirecTV is giving them away free (if you sign for the commitment).
