4dtv direct sat entry prob |
|
|
On the sat GB, there is no B on the keypad so as far as I can tell
there is no way to type in something like Sat GB and have it proceed to
this sat. I need this because I'm using SageTV to record programs and
it can not send the sat change command out to get to this one sat. Is
there a hidden or other way to send the B? I tried programming some of
the other sats to it but then I couldn't get the digital channels
because it acted like a normal sat with 24 transponders.
What have I overlooked? |

If you have T4 and/or L4 programmed in you can use
Sat + L + Right arrow (If L4 is programmed)
or
Sat + T + Right arrow
The digital channels will not be mapped until the receiver gets a digital lock
on one of the base transponders on G0, C3 or G1. After getting a digital lock
on one of those base transponders let the receiver sit for about 20 minutes.

I own a 922. I am sure if you hit the "Sat" button and then the "G"
button once (Sat 5), it goes to Sat GB. If you hit Sat GG (Sat 55), it
goes to Sat G5.

It will go to the 1st G in the list if you press Sat + G, so If you have G6
programmed in it will go there.
