Hi
My C-band system is over 10 years old, the pole snap, at the base, looks
like rust.
It is a 10ft Winegard dish with a H-H Ajax H-180 mount.
After all these years, the pole snap in our heavy wind today. It seem that
by luck the dish seem not to be
damaged, it got hung up on the hedge.
The original installers are not in business any longer here in Los Angeles,
CA
I looking for somebody to put the dish back up
If any of you out there have had any experience or know of anybody in the LA
area please let me know how I can get in contact with them.
Like to get it back up.

Thanks for the help

Bill

If, as you say, there is no damage, you can probably just replace the pole,
remount the dish, and be back in business. A good concrete contractor
should be able to set a replacement pole which can usually be found at a
pipe supply company. Have it cut to the proper length, and weld fins or a
large bolt to the bottom to discourage turning in the base. Make sure the
pole is plumb. Once the concrete is cured reattach the mount/dish to the
pole and swivel until you find the satellite to which you were pointing when
the pole snapped. Lock it down there and you should be good to go.
