Hi,

I have been reading quite a bit on the tom tom gps systems and have narrowed
my search down to the tom tom 300 or tom tom 1 they both fit my needs just
can't see which is the better unit?

The tt1 is a bit cheaper.

Which would you go for .... ?

Thanks

TomTom1 has a 2hr battery where the GO 300 has a 5hr one, a slightly quieter
speaker and power cable must be manually connected to the unit rather than
via a docking mount. However the ONE is a cmore compact shape and has a
SiRFStarIII receiver. In all other respects they are the same, same
software etc.

The ONE is the better option IMHO.

The GO 300 also has BT capabilities. It is not hands free like the
700, but it does indeed support BT.
