Hi all,
Could someone tell if you can load Navman Australian Maps on Tom
Tom GPS software. Or is there any other Maps (Australian) I can use with Tom
Tom. thanks

TomTom devices won't work with anyone else's maps. Unless things have
changed, if you buy a TomTom device in Australia, you get Australian maps
with it - but you can't buy *just* the maps to use on a device purchased in
a different country.

There is Tom Tom Autralia map, you can use only that for Tom Tom.
You cannot use maps designed for other software.

Yep, I contacted TomTom support re: Australian maps and you can now purchase

them from TomTom direct to add to whatever model you have.

Colin

Yes you can.

My tt500 came with UK & Marjor roads of Europe. I have just purchased
the whole of Europe for a trip (Wish I'd bought a 700 now, would have
been cheaper), and I can buy US & Australian maps as well.

Yes - that's good. Someone else posted something similar. It was just when
the Australian version first came out, you couldn't buy the maps separately.
I'm glad that you now can.

Sorry. Been out for a bit. But yes, you're right. The Oz maps only
became available very recently. (A few weeks ago AFAIK). Up until then I
never saw them anywhere.

Anyone know if NZ is on the Oz maps?
