And now from what I am hearing only YSP customers will have the D5 channels cut
off on 12/1

The other providers' customers will not be cut off until their contracts
expire. Also last Friday and Saturday I know of a few people that ordered D5
from YSP. The channels were sold to them. Something is not kosher here.

NPS (and possibly SRL) is making arrangements to offer the Digicipher feeds of
the D5 channels
NPS is considering unlinking KTLA, WPIX, WGN in DCII

I would need to check the status of the Primetime 23 channels with a reliable
source before I can comment on them, but I do not consider YSP a reliable
source.

following:

Eff: 12/1/05, the Denver 5 stations are history. I will get a refund.
Eff: 12/1/05: KTLA, WPIX, WGN are history. I will ge a refund.
Eff: 1s quarter of 2006, Primetime's East Coast network feeds are history.

Analog seems dead, and these above-mentioned feeds are NOT moving to digital

fool them.

They are playing games. D5 analog is still available through NPS and AFAIK also
through SRL.

Eventually the analog feeds probably will disappear. YSP does uplink them, but
they are not gone yet. When analog is gone NPS will be offering the Digicipher
feeds.

I was able to resolve the problem through a purchase at NPS. I did not spend
the $153 at Netlink yet. So, no money was lost.

However, I talked to Netlink. They were adamant about the fact that the
DENVER Net will be gone. Netlink claims to own the Denver Net and it will be
gone no matter what NPS told me. NPS at first told me that was not true. So
I requested to speak to a supervisor or someone of authority to clarify who
is telling me the truth.

NPS told me it is true that Denver Net is owned by Netlink. At the time of
my call, NPS had not been told these signals are leaving C-band. But NPS
agrees that they could be gone shortly, and have heard the same rumors I
have. NPS recommended buying by the month, and if it is still there after
the 1st of the year, renew for a longer period during the next billing cycle.
So, that is what I did.

Good luck to all who are looking for a solution. The NPS solutions may be a
temporary reprieve until NETLINK pulls the plug.

They [Netlink] were adamant about the fact that the
DENVER Net will be gone. Netlink claims to own the
Denver Net and it will be gone no matter what NPS told me.

Years ago, TCI setup Denver 5, then it was sold "Murdoch,"
and Murdoch in essence forced a sale of it to Echostar.

So, Netlink [Turner Vision, SuperStar] is owned by Echostar.

So yes, Echostar can terminate analog Denver stations...
and most likely will in the near future.

But NPS agrees that they could be gone shortly,

When Echostar terminates the analog feeds, there is a good chance
we may have access to the digital feeds on HITS on W1

Do remember, Echostar stated back in Winter of 1999, C-Band would be
history within a year or two, when they made that contract deal
with Netlink. Netlink has put out "fear ads" over the years, and has
tried
to switch their previous and existing customers over to DISHNETWORK.

It's been dirty pool by Netlink/Echostar over the past five years,
imho. One
deception after another by Netlink/Echostar.

So, just wait-n-see....HITS may allow us to view these channels.
