hi i am trying to point dish at echostar7 but am currently having problems
with bogus signal returns from card in progdvb. I can't figure this out. At
first i thought the twinhan visionplus usb box was faulty so i took it out
and brought it to my place to test it. My dish is already pointed and it
worked fine. In progdvb (at my friends house where i am now trying to set it
up) i can point the dish directly at the ground and still get 30% quality
and 30% signal strength without even being pointed at a sat.
Any suggestions/hints would be appreciated. Thanks

Use a Dishnetwork receiver to aim the dish.

You must set the L.O. frequencies correctly. They should be 11250 Mhz
all the way across (lo, hi, switch).
