Erasing bell |
|
|
Really want to get rid of bell?
Use Xylene!
Takes a minute or two & a paper towel & a touch of elbow grease, but
the BEV logo'll be off the receiver!
(Use Nova plastic polish to smooth things up a bit)
Note: works best with dish firmware |

it's this shitty satellite company that used to be OK, but now likes
to have their customers bend over and give it to 'em while they clean
out their wallet.
I dunno,..their logo of a hole with a man's head up it just never
worked for me.

http://www.telesatcanada.com/about/index.htm
Made in Canada...
Bringing Satellite Solutions to the World
With thirty-five years' experience, Telesat is one of the early pioneers in
satellite communications and systems management. Created in 1969, the
Company made history with the launch of Anik A1 in 1972 - the world's first
domestic communications satellite in geostationary orbit, operated by a
commercial company.
Based in Ottawa, Canada, the company operates a fleet of satellites for the
provision of broadcast distribution and telecommunications services, and is
a highly respected consultant and partner in satellite ventures around the
world. Telesat has offices throughout Canada, in the United States and in
Brazil.
In November 2000, Telesat launched Anik F1, its next generation and sixth
series of FSS satellites. This satellite, equipped with 48 Ku-band
transponders and 36 in C-band, has a footprint covering all of North and
South America.
Nimiq 2, the Company's second Direct Broadcast Satellite, was successfully
launched on December 29, 2002. This satellite features 32 Ku-band
transponders and also has a small Ka-band payload. Nimiq 1 was launched in
1999 and has been delivering hundreds of channels of direct-to-home
television programming to a growing market of consumers across Canada.
Anik F2, launched in July, 2004, is the world's first satellite to fully
commercialize the Ka frequency band - a breakthrough satellite
communications technology for delivering cost-effective, two-way broadband
services.
On September 8, 2005, Telesat launched its state-of-the-art Anik F1R
satellite. Anik F1R provides valuable capacity for Canadian direct-to-home
satellite television, along with a range of other telecommunications and
broadcasting services. The spacecraft also features a navigation payload
that will make North American air navigation more reliable and more accurate
than ever before.
Construction on the Anik F3 satellite is currently underway, with that
launch scheduled in 2006.
Telesat is a wholly owned subsidiary of BCE Inc., Canada's largest
communications company.

Made in Canada...
Bringing Satellite Solutions to the World
With thirty-five years' experience, Telesat is one of the early
pioneers in
satellite communications and systems management. Created in 1969, the
Company made history with the launch of Anik A1 in 1972 - the world's
first
domestic communications satellite in geostationary orbit, operated
by a commercial company.
Based in Ottawa, Canada, the company operates a fleet of satellites
for the
provision of broadcast distribution and telecommunications services,
and is
a highly respected consultant and partner in satellite ventures
around the world. Telesat has offices throughout Canada, in the
United States and in Brazil.
In November 2000, Telesat launched Anik F1, its next generation and
sixth series of FSS satellites. This satellite, equipped with 48
Ku-band transponders and 36 in C-band, has a footprint covering all
of North and South America.
Nimiq 2, the Company's second Direct Broadcast Satellite, was
successfully launched on December 29, 2002. This satellite features
32 Ku-band transponders and also has a small Ka-band payload. Nimiq
1 was launched in 1999 and has been delivering hundreds of channels
of direct-to-home television programming to a growing market of
consumers across Canada.
Anik F2, launched in July, 2004, is the world's first satellite to
fully commercialize the Ka frequency band - a breakthrough satellite
communications technology for delivering cost-effective, two-way
broadband services.
On September 8, 2005, Telesat launched its state-of-the-art Anik F1R
satellite. Anik F1R provides valuable capacity for Canadian
direct-to-home satellite television, along with a range of other
telecommunications and broadcasting services. The spacecraft also
features a navigation payload that will make North American air
navigation more reliable and more accurate
than ever before.
Construction on the Anik F3 satellite is currently underway, with
that launch scheduled in 2006.
Telesat is a wholly owned subsidiary of BCE Inc., Canada's largest
communications company.
