I am using a 1.2m antenna to uplink Ku Band on INSAT 3B, at the same
time can i recieve a C band feed on the same sattellite,
Since INSAT 2A and 3B are at the same direction ( 83 degrees east, on
APR 1 ), is it possible to pump the Ku Band signal to the sattellite
and at the same time recieve a feed from the sattellite by tuning a
decoder box to the desired frequency,
This can be helpful in peaking the antenna with great ease
P.S: I am not using an auto tracking antenna but a manual hand cranking
antenna, so u understand why i am asking this question :-)

Thanks a bunch for reading this !!

You may be able to hang a cband feed alongside itoffsett slightly. But
remember the focal distance will be different and there will be a loss from
offsetting the lnbf. Combine this with the small size of your dish. You may
get away with it if the Cband eirp from 83E is in the low to mid 40's or
higher.
