And it is rather widely used down here as an interjection of mild surprise.
It's about two steps below "Holy Shit Batman" on the level_of_surprise_ladder.

Even Steve Irwin uses it (rather liberally at times).

So anyhouw - at 05xx GMT on 25 Dec, the big man in the red suit is still
airborne. NOTAM required.
