Garmin don't expect to start shipping the
7200 and 7500 until the week of 1/9. Now why doesn't that surprise me? They
haven't ever come out with a product when they say they will. Then it will
have several updates after the public does the testing for them. I have a
unit now that does all that they say these will do and more. No updates no
testing and for about half of what they want for there units. And I didn't
have to wait forever to get it.

So .. why do you care when Garmin will ship, if you already have
something better? An odd post.

I see the fact that Garmin just keeps on releasing brilliant and innovative
equipment year after year and supports it like no other, is completely lost
on you . . .

It must be terrible to live such a negative life as yours.

Look at some of the Pioneer units that are out.Garmin is just starting to do
what Pioneer has been doing for a year.

then if you are really serious, go buy a Pioneer. However, if you are just
another troll then I suppose you'll hang around and bash Garmin instead.

Right there is proof you don't know what your talking about x2. First of
all they don't ever promise delivery dates (they are only estimated or
expected ship dates) and second they have came delivered products in the
past that was before the time they **estimated**.

No and you won't be able to take a 7200 or 7500 on a hike. For that matter
you can't take the 2600 or 2700 series on a hike either unless you want to
carry a big old battery and look stupid. I don't have a need to move it from
car to car. Both cars that i own have GPS systems and I have a hand held if
I want to hike.
I don't figure that I'm Garmin bashing I have in the past owned 6 garmins
12, 12XL.GPSIII,NavTalk,76 and a 2610. After the screwing I was given on the
2610 by one of this groups sellers I decided to move to something better. The
Pioneer unit I have beats the garmin shit in all kinds of ways.
