HD Movie Network |

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what the thought process is for the movies
that are chosen to broadcast in HD on the Movie Network? There are tons of
god movies out there but not on HD. And they seem to pick movies that are
often independent and not shot with anything resembling HD. And this month
Mel Gibson's anti-semite blockbuster "For the Love of Christ' (or whatever
it is) is playing on The Movie Network... but not on the HD channel. They're
too busy showing things like The Machinist, Harold and Kumar (still!),
D.E.B.S., Supersize Me (why?!) and Fahrenheit (yes, that is how they spell
it on their site) 911 (old and not filmed in HD). Do they NOT want us to
watch? Why is it that broadcasters in Canada challenge us, hell they seem
to NOT want us to watch. I can understand it with the C.B.C. but why the
Movie Network? And the Comedy Network seems to be the same way. |
