American TV in England |
|
|
This is probably impossible, but is there any way to get US TV stations in
England? I'm moving soon and don't want to miss my old television. So far
I've looked into Sky (nothing), the internet (no good for news or sports),
even maritime satellite systems (coverage only extends to the mid-Atlantic).
Any help much appreciated! |

Sky will get you Fox News and "FX" (Fox shows), CNN (International
version, though still with US content), CNBC and "ABC1", which I guess
must show a lot of ABC programming. You'll find that Sky One/Two/Three,
Paramount, Ftn, Sci-Fi and Bravo between them show a lot of recent (and
not-so-recent) US network programming as well.

Chris , what you could do is have someone tape your favorite shows here and
have them shipped to you on a regular basis. At least you will feel like
home once in a while. I've done that once.BUT....make sure that you have a
NTSC VHS and TV otherwise it wont work on PAL systems,
Good luck

pick-up one or two International US channels but that is ALL.... And don't
expect the BBC to be a hilarious channel either LOL
