Please help with a question I have |
|
|
I have a Bev subscription and the dish is pointed at satellite 91.
My question is: Is Bev's satellite 91 the same as Dishnetwork's 110 or 119
or they are completely different satellites?
Thanks for the help. |

RC...The number of the satellite (ex: 91) identifies it's position in the
earth's horizon at almost 22,500 miles above the earth they are Geo
stationary ( dont move and follow the earth's rotation)
Thus 110 and 119 will be at 110 degrees and 119 degrees.
Your Bell equipment is Identical as Dishmnet using echostar receivers. Only
difference is that one receiver is programmed to receive Bell and the other
Dishnet (with 2 sats for one dish)
Take care

As stated by ric and ad hoc guy, it should be much clear to you regarding
the working of these sats, however to get these signals, you can hook up , a
device called "multi LNB rod" which can convert this bev dish to receive
dishnet 110 and 119 along with 91. Or simply u can hook up a separate dish
having 110 and 119 on it.
-The FTA receivers are capable to get both providers at the same time.
- You can also get very cheap , dishnetwork legacey recievers to work
separately on this system. |
