I e-mailed Garmin and they confirmed this (see below).
This is really strange. Perhaps it's related to the ANWR topo map
dissappearance reported by the Map Room:

In any case, I am wondering if there is any way to upload all or part of a
topo map from another source, such an National Geographic's TOPO! state
series (ANWR is included here).
Surely there must be some kind of workaround or hack available.

this issue, and I have come to the same conclusion. I do apologize for any
