I wondered if my Kathrein UFD 516 satellite receiver is a lost cause?
Reception is good but colours are poor and weak compared with i.e. terrestrial TV, DVD player and my old sat receiver. There are different settings for output to either TV or DVD recorder and you can select CVBS, RGB or digital output. Connection is via low-loss scart leads.
I would expect to see rich and vibrant colours - as seen on other receivers i.e. Technisat.
Because the colours are so pale this spoils the whole experience of watching European TV - the technical quality of the German stations is very high.
Would there be any possible solution or should I just get a better receiver? |
