While Bev and Dish were widely known to have "alternately accessible"
systems.
No one cared about directtv, starchoice, zoom, or several others.
Once there is no "easy" route, you may see all the systems getting a bit
more attention.
In the meantime those of us who have valid subs to use really won't care
much.
And will be sitting patiently waiting to see how things unwind
Porn, HDTV, In-car race views, and a few football games were not cared
about too much, by many of us.
And Hockey, well........ Not much to worry about for this year there either.

you're right. it probably will be at least a year. but i'm a hacker???
and
what does that mean? so i test my sat, but i still pay bev 60 bucks a

as well, this ain't about free tv. 500,000 subs i agree is probably

you sir are the clown ... they are indeed sending cards to other subs
without playboy, football or hdtv, a co-worker of mine received one,
also
mistaken that they will be replacing old equipment....that same
co-worker,
has a 4500 greybox, as old as they come, so obviously there is no
equipment
that won't work with it they'd be replacing.
the cards distributed are used under licence from nagravision,
expressvu
doessn't even wholely own the cards so it would have to have been
allowed
for replacement at some point, i wouldn't worry about if they can
afford
it
or not. time wise, i do agree, that expressvu will be a while. they
are
poor and slow at everything they do... customer service, etc. so why
would
they be any better at a card swap. i don't know from anywhere, but
what
makes you say they have 1,000,000+ subscribers? i highly doubt that
number,
they may say they have lots and lots of customers, but of which of
bell's
services? satellite? telephone? cell? 1,000,000 seems pretty high to
me.

correct I also spoke with bell rep no card swap only HDTV models
for
now.
All you clowns out there should do your math
Bell has about 1 million plus customers out there
if they were to do a card swap even at $50 per customer there cost,
they
couldn't afford to do it the man power alone to activate the new
access
cards would be extensive and the replacement of all the older
version
receivers that are still activated would cost them a bundle so

After seeing the "classics" games, and remembering what real hockey was.
I'm not going to worry about whether I can get my "NHL tiers" working next
year either.
Mind you, I have heard that a few people wearing tinfoil hats are
"listening" to this seasons games
So it might be your card afterall.
