anyone used a sky plus box on freewiew e.g. record channel 4 while watching
bbc 1 etc does/will it work without being subscribed to sky and the second
subsciption. i have quad lnb with 2 panasonic boxes just on freeview an want
to change of em to sky plus to eliminate video recorder. anyone who has
similar setup plz help!!
Also which is a fast sky plus box to get??

You need a valid Sky viewing card activated for the Sky+ functions in
order to record or playback. This activation is £10 per month or free
if you have a viewing sub of £30 or more.
So you have a minimum payment of £10 to Sky to record FTA or FTV
channels which have nothing to do with Sky. Is this a rip-off? Of
course it is.
