| Quote: | I moved my dish a 3 feet directly east and now I can't set my east/west
limits. I have GI Super 350i receiver and when I try to set the
east/west limits I get an error message. The West limit sets at 8197
and trying to set the east limit, no matter what I try to enter, yields
this error: "the east limit must be less than west limit."
Then when I try to move the West limit I get this error message: "upper
limit cannot move upper."
Any ideas? Also, where can I find out what my appropriate east/west
limits should be?

Easiest probably is to clear memory and start from scratch.
[MENU][4][ENTER][ENTER]
Steps then from the manual are:
From the INSTALLATION menu select option 1. When LIMITS display appears, set
east and west limits to the current antenna position. Keystrokes are as
follows, (wait for menu to update between keystrokes):
[MENU][1][1][ENTER][2][ENTER]
Return to the Set Limits option, and verify that the dish moves in the
proper direction when arrow keys are depressed.
Left arrow should move dish east, right arrow west. Swap motor wires if
necessary.
Move dish to east limit. Manual says go to "Jack Error" and back off 20
pulse counts. press [1] to select east limit [ENTER] to set.
Repeat procedure for west limit.
