I get local channels from the new 72.5 bird. Unfortunately, older multisat
receivers (like my Sony SAT-A65) don't know about it and therefore can't
receive the locals. So, I'm stuck with the crappy D10 they gave me for now.
I have two round single LNB dishes - one pointed at 72.5 and the other at
101.
Shouldn't it be possible for Sony or DTV to fix this with just a firmware
upgrade? Is there also a hardware limitation?
So far my calls to DTV and the local mom & pop satellite place have gotten
me nowhere.
