Can it be captured on the UEC STBs by rescanning and how?

I suspect you need to upgrade to Foxtel Digital (c)

If ABV is ABC Victoria, enter into Signal Setup 12407Mhz, sr30000 2/3 FEC
and Search and Rescan OR choose Search Service Names elsewhere in menu, -
this should load the new Aurora frequencies and detail.

Unsure as to Fox UEC boxes.

Did'nt work very well. Wish I got have got the ABC channels on top of the
Foxtel channels.

Lets say I dont have an Aurora card just a regular red card from Fox.

So I did what you said and I got the Aurora tuning channel on Ch 1. Trying
to change channesl was impossible: A combination of using the up/down
buttons on the STB itself, holding the power-on button as I did it finally
got the channels to move a bit with several freezes on the way. This is the
funny part: it asks for a smart card and when I put in the red card I got a
signal. Why it did not ask for an Aurora card who knows. Anyway I am
getting ABC T on channel 42 right now.

Oh the funny thing is is that on checking the Signal Set-up with the red
card reinserted, it had changed to the orgianl foxtel settings, but I was
still getting ABC T.

The ABC TV and radio channels on C1 are currently FTA so you don't need
a card to receive them. That's why they still work without an Aurora
card. If ABC activates encryption on their channels again then you'll
need to use a valid Austar or Aurora card in the box.

ABC Victoria is running on the new location for Aurora services -
transponder 1 of C1. Transponder 1 has now been split up into 2 signal
feeds. ABC Victoria is on the lower section of the transponder at
12288MHz, symbol rate 28650 with FEC of 1/2.

Was also thinking by his response the LNB might just need a very slight
twist.....
