Is it possible to add a GPS to my Palm PDA? Seems to me it would be
possible to save a few dollars. I'm not sure that a GPS is of any use to
me, and buying a mapping one seems an expensive way to try.

Moises,

Go to Radio Shack, Staples, Best Buy or one of those and get a "puck" or
"mouse" type GPS. Those don't have a display, and feed data straight to the
PC or PDA. You do, however, have to have some sort of mapping software on
the PC or PDA that you're feeding it into. Those can be had for a wide
variety of prices, with varying quality levels.

Go to froogle.google.com and try searching "mouse GPS" without the quotes. I
found Mapopolis at Kmart.com, which has a mouse GPS and a mapping program
for the Palm OS, and it was all together for just 179.98 plus shipping.

There are bound to be many more good deals around, that was just the first
one that I found.

Please try to excuse the less-polite posters around here who try to be flip
or condescending with their answers. Most folks are very helpful and
friendly. Have a great Christmas (or Winter holiday of your choice!).

There are several options available, depending on the sort of PDA you have.
A good place to start exploring the options is www.gpspassion.com

Even though I have several stand alone units, my pocketPC/CF GPS unit with
mapopolis software is still my preference for street navigation.

Good luck

You can get the tomtom palm product? If you are using GPS you need maps tho,
not a lot of point without?
