Just as an example how the system is flawed by entering a village then
choosing a street from the list try 'Fyfield' in Wiltshire. You then get
the choice of one street 'Hare Street'. If you choose this and then you
have to choose either Anywhere or try the crossing with Marlborough Road and
the final destination will be close to Pewsey which is about 15km away from
Fyfield.

After entering Anywhere on Hare Street in Fyfield as a Favourite:

1) Go back to the main menu and select Browse Map
2) Press Magnifier symbol then Favourites then select Hare Street
3) Press the four segmented symbol (flower or cross-road?) and select
Center Map
4) Zoom in and out and decide whether that is a useful destination.

But your overall question is odd - you are claiming to want to go to
anywhere in Fyfield and then complain that the anywhere is not what you
wanted! Maybe there is a map error and Hare Street should not be called
Fyfield, and no system has no map errors, or maybe you are too fussy by
claiming that you don't care where to go in Fyfield but secretly you
really do care very much. But the problem is not the claimed lack of
capability of the software design and features.

I think the explanation you gave assumes that the list of streets given
after entering the town actually refer to streets in the town/village - in
fact they do not appear to be but any that are 'near' - within 15km it
seems!

All system rely on accurate maps and the TomTom GO does also.
