Hi all,
I have a garmin GPS and mapsource(australia). I have just bought a CF based
unit for my laptop as its more convienient to use than the garmin when
driving which leaves the handheld free for the 'on foot' part.
Problem is, while mapsource can read the NMEA data, because it lacks the
garmin format and a unit ID it wont track with full map detail.
I have a valid unit ID (from my garmin) and need a 'go between' to parse the
NMEA sentence to GARMIN and add my unit ID to the string so I can travk in
full detail.
I have searched and found many similar programs but none that do this on the
fly.
If I could just find a 'parser and converter' I would be set. Anyone know of
anything that would do the job or can think of another workaround?
Cheers
#hish
