MS S&T 2005 w/Navteq for just $15 |

COSTCO is selling Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005 for $34.99 with a
$20 rebate. Uses GDT and Navteq data. Seems like a very cheap price
when you consider what Garmin charges for their Navteq based map
updates.
1. Does anyone know if the Microsoft map database provides the same
coverage and detail as the U.S. Garmin products?
Unfortunately, the program seems rudimentary for in-car use. No voice
directions or voice recognition.
2. Any way of using the Microsoft map and POI data in connection with
a more full-featured program, like Garmin nRoute or Delorme Street
Atlas?
