when they need more funds for roads they tax the smokers..
when they need more funds for abortion clinics they tax the smokers
when they need more funds for anything they tax the smokers..
why is it the smokers faults for everything these days..
Why dont they add a .50 tax to a 6 pack of beer or .50 on a snickers bar..
or a big mac.. its like the smokers are the evil of the world anymore..
I think they should tax democrats 50% more than republicans, since democrats
dont mind higher taxes, and we all could use the money, easy solution.

since the republicans are spending more money that the the mint can print
maybe they aughta look a having them chip in a lot more

I agree smokers can be a nuisance.. if they refuse to show
respect for others nearby.. I never smoked in the house,
and never smoked around others when I knew there was
a possibility of offending someone..and I would have understood
had anyone asked me to smoke elsewhere if it was bothering them..
but all these taxes on smokers is bogus.. the goverment found
a new target and are proceeding to bleed them dry.
The government will never outlaw smoking because it gives
them too much tax dollars...and the people they are taxing
arent the people who manufacture or sell them, they are
taxing the poor shlobs who use em. We have the massive
tobacco settlement (which more than 50% was/is spent on
things other than smoking related).. then we have new tobacco
taxes every year.. I guess the government figures the tobacco
industry will be bankrupt in the next 10-20 years so they might
as well suck them dry while they can..

interestin thing about politicians if they be republican or if they
democrat they cant seem to live with in our means, everyone
has a smaller goverment plan till they reliaze all they have to do
is milk the cash cow to make more bread and cheese
