magellan 700 vs Garmin 2620 |
|

Im torn between these 2 units, the Magellan has better packaging
with a larger screen and integrated speakers but the Garman appears
to have more memory etc...
Any opinions?
Thanks

Forget the 2620, too many problems with microdrives. Get the 2610 and a
2GB CF card. Much more versatile.

I'd strongly suggest the 2610 as 1st choice with the 2620 being the 2nd
choice.

The 2610 are very hard to find, is Garmen replacing it with
the 2650?

Hard to find?? I don't recall ever being out of stock on the 2610 in the
last year or so but we are getting very close to being out now and they are
on backorder from Garmin. In fact we are out of the 2610 with v6 software.
We only have a few left with v5 but the update is free and we are selling
them for $735.00.

Van, you have them backwards. If you buy the unit from us there is NO
reason to get a 2620 unless we run out of the 2610.

If you're still looking, we've got 45 of the 2610's and 83 of the 2620's in
stock.
