Latest Leading Edge catalog has a product advertised in it called a
Prosignal Satellite Kit (Free to Air) for AUD$299.00. Comes with dish ,
decoder, etc. 63cm, LNBF 11.3Ghz. As the advert blurb reads" .....offers a
multitude of community TV stations from various parts of the world. This is
a free TV service". Its not a great deal of money, but what sort of stuff
would be likely to come up on it? Local reseller doesn't know much
(anything) about what it would be like, so maybe someone here would have an
idea of what I could expect it to receive. Any comments appreciated!
Thanks.

Might be an idea if you supplied a web address.

Like all things,, You only get what you pay for. But I suppose it would be
possible for that price, Chinese Clone receiver, but the dish is a bit small
for FTA.
And while it might state , "Channels for all over the World", they don,t
tell you that the dish will need to be re-set on different satellites to
accomplish this. And for that price , your not going to get a Moteck or a
Stab mount.

Thanks Basset
No website that I can find. A search for Prosignal on Google didn't bring up

anything relevant in the first few pages. I'm not into satellite TV , but I
thought maybe it might pick up something worth watching, to supplement the
crap we get on normal TV!

Most likely with a dish that size Optus B3, Globecast transponders. A pity

the dish isn't a little bigger.
