Poor old George, But you have to admit , his posts are entertaining, and it
all started in 1975, care to correct that George. No matter.
As for six receivers running across the country, you have told us about
that before. Are you running a card shareing set-up. ???
But just for the record, Irdeto 1 was never cracked, It was compromissed,
Big differance
I just happen to know the site our George could write his thesis on the
evolution of obtaining the unobtainable, frankly I don,t think he can crack
Eggs, But I,m reluctant, to post it here as all the "Troll's" "Wanna
Bee's" and "Garden Gnomes" will get it...
I was reminded about "our" George the other night , when "harvey krumpit"
was on SBS. and very good it was too.

I was going to share my information with whoever wanted it but, there was so
much ridicule and suggestions of bullshit, that we decided that the
knowledge we held was too great for ones who didn't believe and have held it
back till such a time that we decide on who is genuine and who is just a
newsgroup troll.
You know the ones, they see a post and reply to it with a message meant to
ridicule the writer, ones who say that it can't be done, ones who are
seemingly in the industry abnd don't want any information getting out.
Television broadcasts are sent out into the air for anyone with the
appropriate receiver.
Satellite transmissions are the same, but they are encrypted and are meant
for receivers with the right encryption codes. If you read any of my posts,
you will have seen that I have been experimenting with satellite
transmissions since about 1975 when it was all analogue C band, still have
some of that gear although it hasn't been turned on for years as digital
came along and all the free television programs on the satellite got pinched
and transferred over to Pay TV so that anyone who was watching it for free,
now had to pay for the same priviledge.
After looking at what was offered, I decided that was not for me, who wants
to watch the Shopping Channel, or Bloomberg 24 hours a day, which was
included on the package and you couldn't ask for the channels you wanted,
you got them and had to pay for them, so we look at other avenues, among
them was the infamous "Gold Card" which was distributed from Perth to
Cooktown, Hobart to Darwin, till the PayTV companies changed encryption, so
a new problem emerged, do we pay for crap TV or do we try and work out the
encryption?
Guess what ?
We worked on the encryption and are enjoying satellite transmissions as the
signals are floating about in the open air and we have plucked them out of
the sky, so to speak.
Believe it or not
I know what I will be watching tonight |

Why should we share things with you, who have been nothing but negative in
all your replies, we were thinking of sharing this a few months ago when we
forst got hold of it, but decided to hold on for a few months and make sure
it worked, because if it didn't, you assholes would complain louder than if
a snake bit you.
If and when we release the information, it will be when George decides as he
is the brain behind it, He has put up most of the money and to date, it has
cost $63,000 for the first receiver, research etc. but as I said, we have 6
working so the cost has spread out a lot.
George is trying to get the costs down to under $2,000 per receiver, but
every constructor, so far has wanted $4,500 for each, so George has done
each one individually and has got the costs down to $3,750, but he wants to
get it down to around $2,000 before he hands it out, he currently is working
with a IC manufacturer from Taiwan but they want the details of the entire
receiver before they will proceed.
So, what would you do ?
I take everything that Bassett says with reverence, as although he can't
spell that good, he is a nice bloke and has come up with a few clues and I
love him to death. |

I'd approach one of the bigger set-top-box manufacturers and make a deal. Give
them the prototype, they give you a fat wad of cash. The units are mass
produced, affordable and in the consumers hands before all channels are
encrypted with the next technology. Also, as far as lawsuits and possible prison
time go, you might be a little more safe behind a bigger corp. All you need is
for one big corp to hit you with a lawsuit, frivilous or not, and there goes
your investment and house down the gurgler in legal expenses. You'd be broke
long before the verdict.

Come on,PayTV at max $110 per month,why even bother,the only reason I
can see to bother with breaking crypto is for the satisfaction of doing
so,very much like breaking into a maximum secuirty area and not getting
caught.
If there was quality content available on paytv it could be worth it
but it is all shit, all regulated by Film & Classification
Australia,just boring shit.
You must be a near homless, which is against the law here,to not have
enough cash to chuck $110 @ Foxtel/Austar every month.
Don't know about you but I spend upto $2500 on equipment to recieve
just one quality TV channel. |

With comments like that, I wonder why you bothered to reply to this thread
First you say : " Because it may be usfull to someone else?"
then you add later : "You must be a near homless, which is against the law
here,to not have enough cash to chuck $110 @ Foxtel/Austar every month."
Now that statement is full of errors and anomalies.
If you want to come up with constructive criticism, learn spelling and
grammar

It's nice to see our friend Vincent is a dog lover,,
But $63000 seems a hell of a lot of money , just to find out if Gilligan
gets of the island, are you sure that you haven't added a 0, just for the
hell of it.
George has been going on about a lot of things, on a lot of differant news
groups over the years, and from what i know, and have been told by some
nice Ladies over the phone, He hasen't delivered in that department ether..

Yeah well we all arn't Bogans!
Bogans have self propelling issues.....
@ your only comment that was not self propelled, which is aswhy i read
such a thread is simple,Because I mentioned card sharing in a previous
post as a general normality and now there are a couple posts dedicated
to the topic,I just hope I did not educate anyone of Bogan orintation
of the subject. |
