Nothing like a sarcastic fuckwit is there.
Who gives a fuck if it goes to NDS?
Perhaps you also run a card sharing scam and are worried about loss of
income if it shifts to NDS?
Or have you sucessfully cracked ID2 and are scared you might have to pay
for it one day....

He would not be the first to have cracked Irdeto2, I have got 6 receivers
going across the country.
I was going to share my information with whoever wanted it but, there was so
much ridicule and suggestions of bullshit, that we decided that the
knowledge we held was too great for ones who didn't believe and have held it
back till such a time that we decide on who is genuine and who is just a
newsgroup troll.
You know the ones, they see a post and reply to it with a message meant to
ridicule the writer, ones who say that it can't be done, ones who are
seemingly in the industry abnd don't want any information getting out.
Television broadcasts are sent out into the air for anyone with the
appropriate receiver.
Satellite transmissions are the same, but they are encrypted and are meant
for receivers with the right encryption codes. If you read any of my posts,
you will have seen that I have been experimenting with satellite
transmissions since about 1975 when it was all analogue C band, still have
some of that gear although it hasn't been turned on for years as digital
came along and all the free television programs on the satellite got pinched
and transferred over to Pay TV so that anyone who was watching it for free,
now had to pay for the same priviledge.
After looking at what was offered, I decided that was not for me, who wants
to watch the Shopping Channel, or Bloomberg 24 hours a day, which was
included on the package and you couldn't ask for the channels you wanted,
you got them and had to pay for them, so we look at other avenues, among
them was the infamous "Gold Card" which was distributed from Perth to
Cooktown, Hobart to Darwin, till the PayTV companies changed encryption, so
a new problem emerged, do we pay for crap TV or do we try and work out the
encryption?

Guess what ?
We worked on the encryption and are enjoying satellite transmissions as the
signals are floating about in the open air and we have plucked them out of
the sky, so to speak.

Believe it or not

I know what I will be watching tonight

And I suppose that you would ?
Of course you do

this is why if you are watching Optus / Foxtel / Austar satellite TV you
are paying for it
