unknown receiver |
|
|
Hi,
I just bought a receiver yesterday, unknown brand (Logo looks like an S and
made in Korea). The firmware installed in it is stating
Model: X
Firmware: 1.76 (26th Feb. 2005)
In order to watch encrypted channels, one has to type 6969 and than password
6969 again...
I would like to know what is this receiver, how to upgrade the firmware,
which firmware does it use?
Any hint would be welcome...
Thanks,
marwan |

If it actually does what you say, then why upgrade firmware? |

Marwan,
It would be a Strong X2 receiver,
in regards to the 6969 thing it does work with some encryption but the
firmware needs to be changed from the factory setup.
