I thought I would share my experiences as they may be of help to other Mitac
168 owners.

The new Miomap console ( vers 3.1 from
http://www.mio-tech.be/downloads/default.asp) has the ability to import
favorites. I wanted to use this as the latest software also allows you to
have an "auto alert" favorites category, which I thought would be ideal for
the speed camera database from
http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php

The documentation for the favorites importer is v. poor and states that as
well as the lat/lon, you also need the street address of each point. This is
not the case. The format for the .csv file you need is

Name of the point,Comment,Longitude,Latitude,Zip,City,Street,House.

You can leave off everything after the latitude, but you must include the
commas, e.g.

TraffCam,GATSO:219,-2.1157,53.07313,,,,
TraffCam,GATSO:220,-2.11317,53.3753,,,,

The Longitude and Latitude is numerical values, all others are strings. If a
string value contains comma the field must have quotation marks.

Have fun !
