Thinking of upgrading from my streetpilot III and almost got a 2610 then I
see this Lowrance. It's a 20GHD 10G for maps, 10G for MP#'s, it has voice,
turn by turn directions, uses the same software/maps as Garmin I believe
Navtech(?). It's a little pricer, esp with the $100 rebate for the Garmin.
Was wondering any real world experiences with bot which is better and why?

Thanks
Bryan

One of the best features of the 2610 is that it DOESN"T have a hard
drive. I've been reading about more and more problems with hard drives
in moving vehicles. Buy the 2610 with a 2 gig CF card. If you are not
computer savvy, go to someone like Darrel Goheen at Tnav.com and he
will ship you a 2610 with the maps loaded on a 2 gig card.
