I sent a message yesterday about the above, but about an hour later
found the problem -- I had forgotten to put the crucial minus signs
in! As predicted this was really stupid. So I apologise to anyone who
even began to reply.

Eating humble pie

I keep getting the following error message whenever I try to calibrate
GPS TrackMaker. I am totally new to the world of GPS, so presumably am
doing something incredibly stupid, but I would welcome anyone's idea
on why this error message crops up. I am following exactly the
instructions on the web page for calibration as far as I can see.

"Wrong Longitude. Longitude must be crescent from Left to Right!"

Thanks for any help.

Tony
