hey guys,
I'm new here, and I'm trying to get some answers for my problem. maybe you can help me.
I have a Technotrend DVB-C 2300 OT Premium card, with a Common Interface and a Nagravision (among others) CAM Module.
the encrypted channels are encrypted with Nagravision here.
The CAM works [MR 1.170], it identifies the protection and it identified that a Nagravision card has been inserted. (in ProgDVB)
I still cannot see encrypted channels.
people told me that it's because the smartcard is "married" to the digital reciever with a serial number and I need to change the "nagra boxkey" in the CAM to the digital reciever's serial number and then it will work.
I know how to change the code, but,
the format of the boxkey in the cam goes like this: 00 00 00 00-00 00 00
I have a "Conditional Access Number (CA)" and "NDS Serial Number" from my digital reciever.
but it's in other formats:
conditional access number from digital reciever is ** **** **** **
nds serial number is CE***************
mac address from digital reciever is **:**:**:**:**:**
what should I insert as the Nagra boxkey in the CAM settings? do i need to convert one of the codes to the boxkey format?
if you can help in any way, please do. I would really appreciate it. |
