Gilat/StarBand try to provide service, but they are incompetent. Their
service runs on money stolen from investors. The bankruptcy judge lets
them keep operating to preserve the illusion that the company is worth
something. Illusion is the only thing that may trick yet another
investor to bail them out. Your service is stolen from investors. This
bothered me as a StarBand customer, so I switched to DPC. At least I
know that Hughes will quit before they have to steal (much) to stay in
operation. |
